You enter through large double doors into "the best, most perfectly equipped off-Broadway theater in New York" – A jewel box with 204 burgundy velvet seats, luxurious carpeting, ebonized oak walls and brass railings. And that's just the beginning. Our extraordinary facility includes ample wing space, orchestra pit, 7 private dressing rooms, chorus dressing/ rehearsal rooms, backstage restrooms, oversized lobby restrooms, box office and bar, central air-conditioning, and state- of- the- art computerized lighting system. Dicapo's perfect acoustics make the theatre an ideal space for auditions, rehearsals or limited run performances. All in a convenient east side location, at the most reasonable rates available.

Dicapo Theatre Rental Rates

Auditions/rehearsals:
Grand Piano on stage or upright in pit. Table in house.
Work light only.
$75/ hour (2 hour minium on auditions)

Technical rehearsal:
Includes use of lighting system.
$175/ hour (four hour minimum)

Performances:
Crew: $35/hr per person 4 hr minimum
$2500/ each (up to 4 1/2 hours)

Audition Monitor:
$15/ hour (four hour minimum)

Sound Package:
(Available for an extra charge)
