The great Faust legend is a romantic tale of color and power! Dominating the proceedings is the sly and villainous Méphistophélès manipulating the lives of an aging philosopher, Faust, who sells his soul for eternal youth, and the innocent maid, Marguerite, overwhelmed with passionate love. Faust is a panorama of drama and song, whirling from medieval streets to the gates of hell, that has fascinated opera lovers for well over a century.
