About the Cast
HILDA RAMOS (Butterfly) Since her debut with the Puerto Rico Symphony, Hilda Ramos has become one of the most in demand Puerto Rican singers. Recent engagements include the Miami Symphony and the Orchestra of the Carlo Fenice Theatre in Genoa, Italy, in addition to her US debut with the Connecticut Grand Opera. TBD (Pinkerton)
JANE BUNNELL (Suzuki) Ms. Bunnell has performed numerous roles with the Metropolitan Opera since her critically acclaimed debut as Annio in Mozart's LA CLEMENZA DI TITO. These include Suzuki, Cherubino, Dorabella, Rosina, Meg Page (FALSTAFF), Ascagnio (LES TROYENS), and Emilia (OTELLO). She has also appeared in a wide variety of roles with the New York City Opera, including premieres of Argento's CASANOVA and Mozart's L'OCA DEL CAIRO.
