The magnificent sanctuary of St. Jean Baptiste provides the setting for this concert version of Serge Rachmaninoff’s grand choral symphony, The Bells, and his brilliant one-act opera, Francesca da Rimini. This exciting concert promises to be a highlight of New York’s musical season. Acclaimed soloists from the great opera companies of the world, including the Met and the Bolshoi, will join with The Dicapo Resident Artists, The Fairfield Chorale and The AmorArtis Chorus to bring these rarely performed masterpieces to vibrant life.
